Personal Information

My name is Steven Williams. I am from Swansea in South Wales. I’m currently 21 and working in a secondary school in Llanelli as an ICT technician.


There are a few reasons why I have created this site. The main reason is so I have a way of distributing my content, be it opinions or work, as easy as possible. This site is also helping me gain experience in web design and content creation.

 

A bit about my self

I am a quiet friendly person and very easy to get along with. I am a avid music fan and enjoy going to gigs whether it be to see international bands or local bands. I have a strong interest in technology and computing and I always like to stay up to date and know what is going on in the world of technology.

I am also a "Gamer" I have spent many hours playing games from First person shooters and Strategy games to the odd game of solitaire. My current top played game is Counter Strike: Source where i am a part of a well established Semi Pro community consisting of 3 teams, -|MOD|-, -|MODs|- and -|MODx|-.

After leaving Pontarddulais Comprehensive School at 16 I went on to Gorseinon College for 2 years to do an Advanced ICT course called AVCE ICT.

After leaving Gorseinon College with an A and B grade I found myself applying for an apprenticeship with Carmarthen County Council.

I was successful in my application and started my 3 year course In the Education department. After a successful year I was given an opportunity to move to Bryngwyn School which I accepted, I completed my apprenticeship there and was then offered a full time job which is where I am currently.


Looking Forward
My Career - At this current time I am unsure of where I am going. I have very strong interests in many areas of computing and am unsure of what direction to take, but I have no doubt that computing will have a major part whatever direction I take.


I have an interest in moving abroad, the reasons for this…. Well I will not go in to them here that’s for another time. I have thought about a few places but at this point I do not have the material to make it happen. A few years maybe.
